Featured Weddings

It’s always exciting to hear that a wedding you did the flowers for has been featured on a national blog!!

Back in January we found out that Sarah and Pan’s May 2015 wedding was featured on Fab You Bliss! You can check it out here – Elegant NYC Themed Wedding In South Carolina – Fab You Bliss

Then in April we found out that Malynn and Austin’s June 2015 was featured on A Low Country Wedding!! You can check out their feature here – South Carolina wedding at Sardis Baptist Church

We just got word that another  one of our June 2015 weddings will be featured on The Knot this coming Fall! Yay!

What is my design style?

Good question! I’m glad you asked!

I would say “my style” is my interpretation of the Bride’s vision and a reflection of her unique style and taste. Many floral designers strive to perfect their “signature style” and there is nothing wrong with that, it’s just not for me. Being limited to my “own” style is like being an actor that plays the same type of role in every film or tv show they do.  Boring!! Haha

I much prefer for someone to look at my portfolio of work and imagine the type of bride that carried each bouquet. I find my inspiration direct from the Bride herself and let the creativity flow from there. It is the Bride’s day, not mine and my job is to guide and suggest flowers and colors based on her preferences and my expertise.

Many brides tell me they don’t know much about flowers and that’s okay! I do! 🙂 I can draw inspiration from the Bride’s pinterest board, her wedding dress, the bridesmaids dresses, the wedding colors as well as her personality when I meet with her.
